Kory Boone gets Endorsement From Gazette
Upper Marlboro: This week the Gazette gave an endorsement to Kory Boone for State Senate Maryland's Legislative District 25 over the nearly 20 year incumbent Ulysses S Currie, who has held this seat since 1995. In October of 2010 Currie was indicted by the federal government, being charged with bribery and conspiracy, he was acquitted in November 2011. However he was censured by the state senate in 2012 for ethics violations from facts that came out from the trial. It is time to elect an ethical leader in Prince Georges County, and Kory Boone is the answer. Kory plans to cut and repeal taxes, revamp Prince George's County failing school district, and develop a downtown area where Prince George's County residents' can work and shop close to their home.
